A year’s worth of preparation, purchasing the property that the new college and church now resides, along with the raising of the building, which is incomplete, is our newest training center in this central region.
We now have five Bible colleges spread throughout the Congo.
We have created our first “Accelerated Bible College Course Program” to facilitate the training of our pastors in remote villages.
These pastors are established in their distant villages and cannot attend our fixed colleges for three years of training.
It is easier to annually send out our college teachers for three weeks to this new college in Kananga.
We had twenty-two students attend. Six women and sixteen men. Some students are already pastors without formal training. Others are not pastors, but one day will be.
The classes ran four hours in the morning and four hours in the afternoon for three weeks. We believe that college is simply an intensified discipleship program. This brings knowledge but not maturity. Maturity comes through the practice of this biblical knowledge and by being faithful to the development of their own personal love relationship with God and people.
